Silly girl....

Here's a few pics of Miss Pants wearing her robe we found in her closet. I had gotten it super cheap a while ago in hopes she would wear it eventually and she thinks it's the greatest!! It helps that it's warm too..... we're spending the day inside today out of the elements.....laundry, cleaning, playing. Is it spring yet!?!?!?!?!

Potty Stories

For those of you curious....we've made some strides and set backs in our potty training. The Miralax Dr. Miller put us on is working miracles. Pants has improved STRIDES in the last month. Even today before I put her down she said she had to go potty and pooped all by herself!! We are so proud of her. We attempted to get rid of all diapers in the house last week and she went 5 night totally dry in the morning and 5 nights getting up twice to have mommy change ALL bedding. I'm not sure why but I guess she's not ready. Kind of the same thing that happened when we first started to go at nap time with no pull up on. After Friday night mommy gave in. Pants was upset that she had to wear a diaper but I told her it had to be dry in the mornings for me to let her wear just her unders to bed at night and she was ok with that. I've probably jinxed myself but she's been in such a better mood and happier with good night's sleep. I guess we'll try again when it gets closer to her 3rd birthday. Bummer. (The pic is at 6:30 at night after 4 days with waking up in the middle of the night wet.......poor girl!)

Silly Girl

We've been busy today...now sure why but I got the itch to do some spring cleaning Friday and today. Daddy thinks I'm crazy but it feel SO good to know that everything is cleaned. blinds, curtains, windows inside, furniture moved and vacuumed behind and under and the WORST OF ALL.....we moved the stove and refrigerator out to clean under. they had obviously not been cleaned behind since the beginning of time. YUCK. I can handle most gross things but I nearly gagged. So for all of those clean freaks out there....do yourself a favor and pull out the stove and fridge and clean under it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel tons better knowing that it's super clean now :) I also started digging into Miss Pants' closet, washed all new spring/summer clothes, organized drawers, rearranged her furniture and am in the midst of organizing the filing cabinets in our closet. Daddy so graciously moved the computer desk out and cleaned/dusted the computer and I cleaned behind it and moved our furniture and vacuumed to. NO I'm not nesting but man does it feel good knowing everything is clean!!! All that's left to do is make cookies this afternoon when our Princess wakes up from her rest!

Zoo Time!

Pants and her parents went to the MN Zoo this weekend for our first time with our Zoo membership we are very excited about !! THANK YOU NANA!! Her and I went to a toddler class in the morning and met daddy after for pb&J's and banana bread. we ventured through the entire place and then decided to ride on the monorail. It was a very beautiful ride considering it was blustery out and we had just gotten 4+ inches of fresh snow! Pants had a blast and promptly passed out at 2:30 when we put her in bed!

Busy Girl

Here's Miss Pants' new jammies from Bell and her new dress from Target. She melted down last night but tonight she's much better. Nana is coming up Friday and Daddy gets back for a day on Friday only to leave on Saturday again. We've been talking via Skype to him in Panama all week and Pants thinks it's pretty cool. Crazy that we can talk to him that far away through the computer for free! The bottom pictures she's posing like a supermodel apparently.... :)

Finally pictures!

Finally got some pics taken today when it was nice out--almost 35 I think! Pants has been busy practicing her tricycle riding! We took down all of the Christmas lights outside and got the garage swept out...all in time for possibly rain/ice tomorrow! She's itching to be able to be outside more but with her runny nose we kept it to 20-25 minutes.... she's looking forward to Nana coming to visit next weekend!

Long weekend...

Yes, it's been over a week...we've been pretty busy and Pants has a lovely cold that she shared with her Daddy before he left the country. So nice of her! We have spent the day playing, hanging out, dancing, spent a few minutes outside and she's been sleeping for over 2 hours now. I hope she gets lots of rest these next 2 days to fight off this nasty cold she has. Poor thing could hardly talk this morning she had so much crap in her throat! Daddy arrived safely to Panama. He's there for a week and then leaves again Valentine's Day. Nana is coming to visit next weekend (both she and Pants are pretty excited). She called Uncle Nate yesterday to wish him a happy birthday and I hope that helped make his day :) I will try to get some pics of her today or tomorrow to post!

Goodnight Moon!

Pants had a BIG day yesterday...we went to see the play "Goodnight Moon" with some very special people!! All of the kids loved it and had a great time. Mommy also got a girls night out while Nana D babysat all 4 little munchkins--it was wonderful to be able to just go hang out for a few hours and be girls! Posted is a picture of our organization project in the playroom..there was a bit of an overabundance of toys and mommy couldn't handle them everywhere....it feels wonderful to have 90% of them off of the floor and in a place now!
